Evaluations
This section is populated with two types of evaluation forms: employer and student.
General guidelines:
- Students are responsible for ensuring that all elements of the form are complete. There should be no blank spaces on either form.
- The yellow copies should not be detached, they remain in the portfolio until removed by the instructor.
- It is worth repetition; There should be no blank spaces on either form.
Employer Evaluations: These evaluation forms are to be given to your supervisor by the second week of every quarter. The supervisor completes it and returns it to the student. The goal here is for the Supervisor to document the student's progress and performance in their assigned workplace or shop. Make sure that your supervisor completes his or her part of the form.
Student Evaluations: This form is for the student to evaluate the Helper Program and offer constructive criticism for the improvement of the program. This is not the venue to dump all of your frustrations with grades, professors, trade instructors, or supervisors. This is the venue to identify weaknesses and inconsistencies in the program and offer another opinion on how to fix them. The helper Program is your experience and no one sees it from your perspective except you.
