Personal Accomplishments

This section is populated with items the student feels are important.  The big idea is that students are expected to be active participants in the communities in which they live, whether it is their family, the PSNS community, Olympic College, the Navy, their town, their county, their state, or their country.  Documenting these accomplishments is much more complicated than explaining them because they will be very different for every student.  One may donate blood, another may earn his or her citizenship, and another quit smoking.  all of these are significant accomplishments and worthy of credit in this section. 

How you earn these points is up to you, but some general guidelines are that your accomplishment is/was

• the result of a rigorous process
• unselfish or charitable
• part of your established goals
• a source of pride for one of your communities
